Omete Anassi
Met Met is an first-generation Kenyan-American, born and raised on the southwest side of Houston, Texas (“The West”).
He got his Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Drama from the Juilliard School.
Omete gravitated to the arts as a form of community building. He’s a brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and a co-founder of Brothers Breaking B.R.E.A.D., an organization exclusively dedicated to the health and advancement of USC’s Black male students.
He considers himself an “athlete of the heart,” a term coined by Antonin Artaud.
Deante' Gray
DG is an award-winning filmmaker & photographer, born and raised in Houston, Texas.
He received his Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, and Digital Media from Texas Christian University (TCU) and his Master's degree in Filmmaking from The New York Film Academy in LA.
Before his artistic pursuits, Deante' excelled on the gridiron as a student-athlete for the TCU Horned Frogs, and eventually for his hometown NFL team, the Houston Texans.
After injuries derailed his career, he sought comfort in creative writing and photography, which helped him garner a new desire of self-expression that would evolve into screenwriting and filmmaking.
His NYFA thesis film “Loving Byron”, which premiered at Warner Bros. Studios, was nominated for multiple awards including Best Short Film at New Filmmakers LA yearly awards in 2021. Post his master's degree, Deante' eventually ended up founding his production company, “Gray Area Productions”, where he directs, writes, produces and shoots a large array of short films, web series, commercials and more.
He loves to explore the essence of what it means to be human through his artistic work and considers art to be the odyssey of possibilities in which we as humans understand our world.
Devonte Clark
Vonté is a Creator, in many senses of the word. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan and raised in Flint and Houston, Texas.
He got his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Houston Christian University (HCU) and his Master’s in The Streets of Life from The Streets.
While being a full time student and college athlete for HCU’s Division 1AA football team, he decided to start a business that would eventually lead to movement: “Forever Loyal Apparel”. Since then, Forever Loyal has immersed itself into the fashion scene with their modern vintage aesthetic.
Most importantly, Vonte is always with the shits. At anytime.
